Woodland Shoe Company was born from a simple idea: make footwear that lasts. Based in Penarth, on the South Wales coast, we draw inspiration from the landscapes around us — the Brecon Beacons, the Pembrokeshire coast path, the wooded valleys of the Glamorgan Heritage Coast.

Every pair we make starts with the best materials we can find. Full-grain leather from established tanneries. Vibram soles that grip wet rock and muddy trails. Waterproof membranes that actually keep water out. We don’t cut corners because we know you’ll test every seam.

We’re a shoe company, not a fashion label. We believe in honest pricing, straightforward descriptions, and footwear that does what we say it will. If a boot says it’s waterproof, take it through a stream. If we say the leather will age well, check back in five years.
